Structural functionalism says that inequality is good, it is functional for society,
alot of your social class is based on how much money you have, so, how much money you have is how much money you earn, and different jobs pay different amounts. different jobs pay different amounts, functionalists say this is good for society, how and why? one thing is that this motivates people to try harder furthermore, ensures that key statuses in society are occupied by highly capable people.
