notice: no touchpad, this is part of how we get the real estate to put this many switches in this small of a laptop
bar of indicators for whats currently in use e.g. wifi or storage or power etc AND physical hardware switches for each component for privacy couldnt find a good picture but would want switches to be able to disable: microphone wifi webcam if included 4G if included battery bluetooth laptop keyboard / trackpoint input usb ports ( preferably with bios options to pick whether its ALL usb ports or just one usb port and which usb port that you wanna turn off. maybe even a range of usb ports )

im aware the display is bigger than the keyboard this is a problem for later.
IO: one of those tiny ethernet connectors 4 usb a ports ( 2 on each side ) 2 usb c ports ( 1 on each side ) ( thunderbolt 4 ) ( can and should charge the device ) one hdmi port one displayport
specs: i5 or i7, 8th gen or above 16gb of ram or upgradable ram with a limit of 16 or higher 99 wh battery
