sandwich generation - people who are feeling pressures. gotta take kids to doctor, make dental appointments, make sure are fed, etc. Separately, shes got to worry about her aging siblings, keeping up with their doctor appointments, lab work, medicines. she feels squeezed, has to take care of 2 very different generations at the same time.
